Hi, thank you for your precious work, but...i have a problem.

I'm using Notepad++ 5.5 and I'm using your function list.

I've downloaded the zip archive of version 2.0 BETA and I've extrated the dll file in ..\Notepad++\plugins and the other 2 files in ..\Notepad++\plugins\Config. I've closed and reopened Notepad++, activate the plugin, but the function list is empty, with standard C file. Do I miss something? Thank you

Antonio

Hi Antonio,

I could not find any issue with my C files.
Can you send me the file on ruslan@o2online.de email?

Regards
Ruslan

I think the config needs to be in doc&set>allusers>appdata>note>

It's systematically removed upon NPP 5.5x install, and if kept, it makes NPP crash quite often.
I wonder if Jens Lorenz will include it in the core plugins list.

This version seems to not find java functions.

I installed 5.6.6 which removed Ruslan's dll. I installed the one from FunctionList_2_0_091109_UNI_dll.zip, but it does not show any functions in my cs files :(

Notepad 5.6.6 should not really remove FunctionList v.1, it recommends to replace it with V2.0.

But if you want to use version 2 of plugin please check my recent post here.

Thanx for this addon.

Have you noticed the nice rules for php functions classes and more on http://www.danielkassner.com/2010/01/22/using-notepads-function-list-plugin-for-php-development/comment-page-1#comment-219

it would nicely update the plugin presets !

Hi I am using Notepad++ 5.6.6. I installed function list plugin FunctionList_2_1_UNI_dll.zip. I tried to see the methods of my java code. But the function list showed empty stating Function List - No Rule Defined. However, when i try to add java in the Language parsing Rules, the application terminates abruptly. Please help.

I have the same problem (function list 2.1 and np++ version 5.6). The function list appears, but you can not edit the functions using the functionlist plugin or it crashes np++.

Otherwise very useful and needed plugin

Got same problem like goodlux. Using NP++ v 5.8.3 and FunctionList_2_1_UNI_dll.zip. Finally found a clue at http://blog.theroyweb.com/function-list-plugin-on-notepad-53. The key is that new NP++ look for config in %APPDATA% (like C:\Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\Notepad++\plugin ), so i copied the Function List config to this place. And make sure you copied the config when NP++ is closed, otherwise it will be overwrited by NP++ with empty config.
